In addition to putting the Skyjacker suspension kit on as soon as the paint is done, looks like I will be replacing all the bushings with energy suspension bushings. That means all the control arm bushings that would need replacing soon anyways, the tie rod bushings, and body to frame mount bushings will be replaced. Decided to opt out of the leaf spring bushings because the Skyjacker kit came with new bushings already installed, and I'm not certain they'd match up to the Energy Suspension bushings.
Woohoo!
more new stuff! :).

You're making me sick Matt!
Why not throw a snorkel on while you're at it.

I think it would mesh with the flames... that or driving through water might put out the flames? Yeah that sounds better.
And Clavos, technically this doesn't count as a "mod" its more of a "110,000 mile repair/slight upgrade" LOL.

No need for a snorkel, when this truck will not even be outside on a slightly breezy day.

Jeff, you are so gonna get a size 15 boot in your ass this weekend! LOL.
I dont even have a garage much less one that could store the beast when I'm not driving it. It'll be driven to work every day, maybe... if I sell the Buick like I plan on doing ot pay down debts.
And I plan on wheeling it occasionally... :)
Oooh, I got it. You can build a snorkel to come out the cowl of your new hood, and go straight up the middle of the windshield. Then you could set it on fire, and it'd be perfect with the flames.

That's not much of challenge since my ass hangs low and is a big target.

So, is Energy Suspension the best set to buy? I know all of mine have to be replaced and I've looked at some kits in the past, but was not familiar with brands.

Energy is typically regarded as the best bushing replacement company. They don't do much in the way of body lifts, etc. but as far as bushings, there about all thats out there.

Is this coming from a local company, a place I may purchase from? Is there a master kit (all inclusive) or different parts? I've been looking on the net, and they list numerous different parts to purchase and gets confusing after awhile.

Energy is a company that you can buy at any four-wheeling shop, such as 4-wheel parts, they had a booth at the Truckfest which is how I came about talking with them about it. They don't have a "master kit"... Here is what I have from the catalog they gave me:
Front End ControL Arm bushing set (upper and lower): 4.3145
Rear leaf spring bushing kit: 4.2150
Body (Cab) Mount set: 4.4113
Complete Front Sway Bar Bushing Set: 4.5172
Tie Rod Boots: 9.13101
Since I will have the control arms and tie rods during the suspension kit anyways, this will eb a great time to do it.

I have not seen your truck since March when we went bowling. Do you really have a truck or are you making this stuff so you can hang out with us?
j/k

LOL OK you caught me! The pictures of the truck at the body shop are just some strangers truck that was getting repainted... my truck was totalled several months ago. Ha ha just kidding, that would make a better explanation.
September 25th. Hopefully everything will be done by then. September 25th.

Looks like I'll be going with a Moog idler arm as well, I've heard they like to fail after putting a suspension lift on

I've had problems keeping my idler arm tight the past few years after I had the lift put on.

New rotors were delivered today. They are Wagner brakes. Somewhat of a "OEM" replacement but the way I see it, my OEM rotors lasted 80,000 miles, my Brembos that cost 3 times as much, lasted me 20,000 miles. Hopefully the new pads and calipers will be coming in soon...

New calipers and pads expected to be delivered shortly. Man I hope these rotors last longer then those Brembos! LOL.

Just incase....have a heavy duty front bumper built...who needs brakes when you can just run shit over and not mess up your truck...
Encase it in concrete like its a bulldozer in Granby...

Here you go Matt.
I'm sure you could just paint it the same scheme as the truck.
