Cory put my RS9000 shocks on tonight after work. My last set of shocks had 80,000 miles on them and were shot. Just getting in the truck I can feel a huge difference. I'll be interested to see how the ride is home tonight. The only bad news was he found out my upper shock mount on the driver side front has about a 4 inch crack in it. It's pretty thick steel, must have hit a bump pretty hard. Anyways at least I know somebody that can weld.

How difficult was it? I'd love to get some new shocks but I've never even contemplated doing it on anything with IFS. Just wondering what it'd take to get it done.

Tray, shocks aren't rocket science. Theyn't terribly easy but not as hard as other vehicles I've done either. nothing spectacular about them... running the connections for the RS-9000 into the cab can be another issue. Jeff did you get the shocks with the hand dial to turn them, or the switch inside the cab?
Sounds like a cool mod :).

I don't think it should be hard at all. Two bolts per shock. The old ones might be rusted which would be the only challenge I could think of.

Actually its 3 bolts :). One on top, two on the bottom. But two is just as easy as one in this case, if not easier.

Let's see, Cory is talking about someone else's truck being dirty? Must've ridden the Harley in today.

Alright sweet. I haven't even taken the time to get down and look, but assumed that with all of the other crap the new rigs have, shocks would have been a much bigger deal.

Sounds like it's pretty much the same process, which is good to hear. Now to find someone to give me a set.

Matt, I did not see your question above. I got the shocks with in cab controller, but that part is not installed yet. I can still adjust them manually if needed.
