Well I've lived at my new place a whopping 3 days now and the truck has already had its first hit and run.
The alarm started going off about midnight last night, I went out to check it out and of course no one was around... it was dark and no obvious signs of damage. So I went back to bed.
Went out to do a more thourough inspection this morning and found that there was a chunk of paint missing on the drivers side door, about an inch long by a half inch wide. It doesn't look dented on original inspection, but naturally will be expensive to fix one way or the other...

Yeah, I don't know why you don't keep it and just 'wheel the piss out of it?! It's paid for right? Just buy something else for daily driving, and that way when stuff like this happens to the truck it doesn't piss you off that much.

I would but this truck sucks off-road, I prooved that the last time I took it off-road out in the Badlands in Indiana... of course then it was only on 33"s and had no suspension lift, but the dang thing got high-centered on EVERYTHING. The f-150 (at least supercab versions of it) are not designed for wheeling.
