Hey guys, I know I haven't been around for a long time, but I've been busy with school and work and Air Force stuff, but it's paid off...
So, we got our EA (Enrollment Allocations) today for Field Training. I made the list. I had worked my ass off over the past two and a half years to get on this one list. Going to FT will allow to reach that *final* hurdle to get my bars when I graduate.
I've been stressed about this thing for a whole year, and now my burden is "off". I just need to kick some ass at fieldtraining.
I'm close now...I just gotta get over this one month hell-fest. I'm ready man.
-->Field Training is what we AF ROTC cadets have to go to to become a Air Force Officer. Without this training, you can't do it. It's like our basic, but we have a 120+ page book full of stuff that needs to be memorized front and back, left and right.
We also have MTI(Military Training Instructors) and FTO (Field Training Officers) to "help" us along. Usually TSgt and above for MTI and Capt. and above for FTO.
Fun times.
So, after my shitty 6 hours AFOQT, my physical fitness tests and all the other crap, I'm only a few steps away from livin' the dream! w00t.
