Saturday March 11th RMFTC will be moving from phpbb forums software to vBulletin. At this time, it will probably be down for several hours and possibly more while I work on getting things up. After this, users will be able to log in but I may ask they update their profiles (as the new profiles will have many more options) and may have to re-load their gallery images (so save these images off now if they aren't saved on your hard drive somewhere as they may be gone for good afterwords!)
At this time we will also be integrating the calendar into vBulletin. Any private calendar settings you have will be lost, so you may want to write any events you have on your private calendars down and put them back in once the new software is in place.
Also, your individual avatars may be lost when we do the conversion. in the testing I've done, sometimes they come across ok and sometimes they don't.

As an update, we WILL be installing a new photo gallery software at the same time (photopost) and I MAY be able to copy over existing images from the current coppermine gallery.
No guarantees, however, that the copying will work, so again if you have any specific images you dont have on your hard drive now is your chance to save them off!

This may be a good time to go through your Private Messages, etc. and clear out any that you dont need any more. They should all transfer over so don't worry if you can't, but it'll help save me some time and space when moving things over.

I tested out the integration of our existing photo gallery with the new photo gallery, and found that it just won't work like I'd hoped. So, I will be transferring over the images from some of the directories (i.e. the "public" albums such as Chinamans Run, July 4th event, etc.) but any of the private albums (i.e. my private album, your private album, etc.) will all be lost. Get ready to reload your images!

We are up... sort of :). Let me know if anything doesn't work, I'm still working on configuring things and I will work on the styles after that, but hopefully things are up and running :)
You will probably find you may have to modify your user profile to make the clock read the correct time zone, more details on stuff like that to come....
