I an new to RMFTC. Just got activated tonight.
I have a 1971 F100 4x4 that has manual steering. I was wondering if any one had put power steering on an old Ford like mine? If so I would appreciate any help.
Thanks

I haven't but This (http://fordification.com/powersteering4wd.htm) might help a little. It's for an F250 but a lot of it may apply to your 1/2 ton.
Right Here (http://www.fordification.com/forum/) are the gurus on those trucks.
I knew one guy that used everything off of a 78-79 Bronco but I couldn't tell ya the details.

Thanks for the reply Warlord.
My oldest son has a 71 250 with a power assist, it is totally different than mine. I will try and find a 78-79 Bronco that I can look at. I have been told by Ford and parts houses that they no longer make power assists for the Old Fords.

Check out AutoKrafters (http://www.autokrafters.com/).
Click on their F-Series catalog & their 73-79 catalog. They may have some usable stuff for that conversion if you can't find anything anywhere else. Also try LMC (http://www.lmctruck.com/icatalog/fb/t1.html)
