I take a ton of digital pictures. It saves me from developing fees, having to buy photo albums, etc. plus they dont loose their quality over the years which is good too.
Previously I"d been burning about a CD every 9 months with the pictures on them, just so I wouldn't loose them. Somtimes it was a year... but with my new 6 megapixel camera I was filling up the space quicker and quicker.
I keep them all on my hard drive but I"m up to about 7000 images, and about 3 and a half gigabyes (about 6 CD's)
I got a new work PC a few months ago with a DVD-burner. I was able to copy the images to it and burn all the images (talking almost 6 years of photos here) to a single DVD, with room to spare!
Go technology! woohoo!
