Who has done a body lift ? The price difference between the suspension lift and the body lift are stupendous! I really like the looks of a lifted truck ... but can't justify spending the cost of a beat up jeep to suspension lift mine ..
so .. my question is ... if you've done a body lift - how hard is it to do ? and are you happy with the results?
lastly .. should I wait til I need tires and just do it all together ?
otherwise ..I'm afraid the stock tires would look goofy on a lifted supercrew...

Well, that's my next hurdle in the quest to make my truck the way I want it.
I've never done one, but don't plan on having too many problems doing it. The biggest one is going to be convincing the wife that I need it done.
I think I've figured out how to keep the brushguard on, and all of the other logistical stuff has been figured out.
A bunch of the guys here got together and did Dom's not too long back.

And I'm pretty sure Cory just put one on his Bronco.
As far as tires go, I'd just get it done now I don't think it'll look all that bad for the short time until you need new ones. Besides, the way things go, you'll be wanting to add a suspension lift too, then you can do that and some even bigger tires.
there easy and i dont regret mine go for it. get the lift before the tires, on that other website look in my gallery and see.
i rubbed like hell and only drove 4 miles to work to do the lift.

Body lifts arent too hard but you just need some folks around with some patience, and some good knowledge... Doms went ok.
Suspension lifts are a bit harder, but same thing, some time and patience and it'll look great :).
