Well....Ive been waiting until the right time to finally rebuild a transmission for my truck since mine has been going south for a long time now, and I think the time is coming.
Last wednesday, my 90th day at work i got a $2 an hour raise. Then on Friday I got Promoted to manager (3 weeks after i declined the chance) and got bumped up another $2 an hour...Then, today i found out i have a $600 check coming my way from an old job i had....
So ill finally get to build my transmission. So far i have the B&M rebuild kit, a TCI shift kit, and a donor trans out of another truck, so i wont have more than 5 hours of down time for my truck.
Now i think ill be able to get the 1500 converter i want, the external filter and cooler i want, and be able to buy the rebuild, and the synthetic fluid i want to run in it.
Im just happy i shouldnt have to 'save up' now...
now all i need to do is get the t-case rebuilt, get the locker, exhaust, hedders, intake manifold, shifter, and tach, and im set..
