Me & Jason (my Sploder buddy), wanna run an semi-easy trail this coming Sunday just so we can get up in the hills for several hours of fun.

We can meet anyone interested at the trailhead between 9:00 & 9:30 am.
Or, we'll be meeting at the Safeway parking lot near 31st & Colorado in Co Springs at 7:30 am.

i could run with the one thats in there, it would just be a little sketchy because the rod ends aren't in very far.
Hmmm.
i saw you today sitting on Colorado at Nevada Warrlord. i think thats probably the tallest Ranger in town.

Mark, pick away :D

Bassdude, musta been on my way home from work then (or going?) I've seen one that's about 10" taller at the roof than mine in town. It was a first generation Ranger with a V8 & 3/4 ton axles under it. It was a sweet lookin' truck but when I gave the guy thumbs up, he smirked & reved the piss out of his engine. I guess the guy can't take a compliment

Yeah, probably wanna make sure there's enough rod in there. It would suck if the threads stripped out. I'm hoping your drag link shows up in time :D

u think a Crew Cab sittin on 44's would be able to make it/fit ? if so i might be down for some wheelin.

There's no doubt you'd make it. The only thing is, it gets pretty tight in a couple places. Are ya willing to accept some body damage if it happens? Or, you could probably just run over the boulder below

I think as Jeff might tell ya, its not the best trail for wide rigs, unless you dont mind some body damage :).

Yup, we went but I only took a couple pics. A couple other guys did but they haven't informed me yet if they're ready. It was pretty cold & windy in places so I didn't take a lot of pics except for when Jason trashed his front axle. He was trying the stair stepper to the far left (the rock buggy part), he gave it hell & his left front axle said, "That's it, I give up"

That sucks! I hope it was still fun despite the damage. I've done that same on-trail repair before in Moab! :)
