Hi all,
I was offered a 4" lift kit from Superlift or Skyjacker for my truck. It will be free product and install. I was wondering if I could hear your thoughts on either of these two products. Pros and Cons, and yes even though its free, if they are not good products, I still would not want it.
I have an 2004 F 350 CC LB SRW 6.0L PSD
THANKS
Ummm, who do I need to talk to about this? I would take either no questions asked.

lildev, I saw your post on cpsc about that too, LOL. What I've heard on the lifts for superduties (its all hearsay so don't quote me!) is that the superlift is the superior lift, unless you go with the skyjacker coilover type lift, which is better the superlifts kit. Hope that helps out! :). I'm putting the skyjacker in my truck after it gets out of the paint shop.
You should join us for camping August 7th/8th.

Matt......yeah posted at the sites I love to view and chat with.....Seems everyone has one they like or dont like.....seems to be none that everyone hates, which is good I guess..... I like what I have read about the Skyjacker Zlink, but ouch, pricey.
Friend has a connection to get some stuff, he does not need a lift, so offered it to be ( making up for stuff I have done )
Been with out my truck since 04/03/04 and just got it back......Need to start the mods...... Camping sounds cool, have been watching that post. I am supposed to be out of town that weekend in Mcconaughy, will see if that is still the case and let you know.
Thanks for the input everyone. I wish I new people with Superduty's and lifted trucks so I could check out the rides of each and the height of each...
the only con is that it's not going on my truck.

I tell you what, take them both and we'll put one on your truck and the other on mine. Then we can find out which one is better. LOL...j/k. I haven't really paid much attention to either of those lifts, because when the finances are right, I plan on getting an Edge.

Clavos........... I hear you. Well I can only choose one of the two offered..... I have researched for a long while now about lifts, and wanted the edge product as well........but free is free I guess..........Unless its a bad product, cause even would not take a free one

lildev, is the truck finally getting out of the body shop? I remember that wreck you were in a few weeks/months ago... I think I'd be about ready to go crazy! :).

Any suggestions on a local person/shop that installs lift kits?
If you have used them, what are your thoughts?

I have mixed feeling about 4 Wheel Parts. I've had trouble ordering stuff from them, but the stuff they have installed has worked out fine. I had both my lift and gears and done at 4 Wheel Parts 3 years ago and I did not have any trouble with their work.

Auto & Diesel Tweaks. I haven't dealt with Lance yet, but that is only because of financial constraints. HIROLLIN knows Lance, and should be able to vouch for his work. 303-250-3104

mines a ways away yet... Lance just didn't seem interested in it, I dont know why. Hirolln, get on him would ya? LOL. I was originally planning on doing it myself, and I still might. Otherwise, in the buff auto or 4-wheel parts might get a crack at it...

Matt that is good to know. Was not aware 4 wheel parts would install stuff not bought from them!

Sounds good Matt. Makes sense. I know no one, and know one even with a similar truck. So I am learning all I can through these online forums.
Thanks
