View Full Version : Thinking of "flier" options

I've been tossing around a few ideas but would like some input as always from the members on what they think. I'm thinking of this as a flier that could be printed and displayed on bulletin boards around town (like my college has a few, some 4x4 shops, etc. have them as well) to hopefully spread the word more about the site.
Heres one idea, its formatted so I could fit two on a page and then just cut the page in half. Whatcha think? Any other ideas?

looks good to me, Although I think you need an "also" "on the end of "want to meet others that do"

I like just having - GOT A FORD TRUCK?
get rid of "AND LOVE IT WANT TO MEET OTHERS THAT DO?" this part does just sounds weird to me.

What about this;
"Do you have a special bond with your Ford Truck?"
"Here's an opportunity to join a family of friends that takes value in that bond."
I would just suggest putting that in for those two first main lines... :)
I'm with Jeff. I like short and sweet. Got a Ford Truck?
Too bad I don't know any marketing people any more. I'd run it by them to get a professional input.
I do know that the quicker a decision is made and put out, the quicker we'll see results.

Snowman, yours sounds kinda... kinky! LOL.
I'll play with it a bit today and work with just "Got a Ford Truck?" and leave the rest off, that would allow me to use a bigger font too... :).

LOL..you guys are too much. But I must admit maybe I do have that bond with my truck because I seem to be in the garage babying it more than my wife..HAHAHAHAHA
Yeah, sounds like the start of a Jewelry commercial or something.

AGGGH Tray, now you have me thinking about that dumb commercial you guys have up there with that dude who talks about "Now you have a friend in the diamond business"...LOL...
Tom Shane, yep. I don't really enjoy his speech, but they do have good stuff, and it's priced well too.
"Now you have a friend in the Ford Truck Club"

Yes Sir.
I had to refresh a few times to see it, but it looks good.
Gotta laugh though, it says RMFTC.COM is misspelled with the green squiggly underneath.

Please put the document up sir.
Well, I would print some out, but I'm working for the state right now. Color printers would be a 20 year leap in technology around here, so I'll have to find somewhere else to print, but I'll post them when I get them printed.

I just realized that the document itself won't hold the font settings, etc. if I transfer it to someone else... so I'll try to get it posted as a jpg that prints to a full page or something...

Matt, the bottom link gives me the following error.
"You've reached an incorrect page: /presbord.ttf. If you feel you've reached this recording in error, please go back to rmftc.com and click again. If the error continues, please contact mattadams@rmftc.com with info. "

hmmm... I can't seem to get it to work. To download the font,g o here: http://www.grsites.com/modperl/fontview.cgi?dir=p&fn=PRESBORD
Worked fine for me.
I did have to go through spellcheck, and ignore the rmftc.com to remove the wonderful squiggley line. (Geez Matt, you think you'd know how to spell your own URL).
