I decided not to add on a two car garage to my existing two car garage. I have decided simply to add a carport, and attach it to the garage. Might close it in later, but we'll see. Should be fairly simple, but I have never attempted such a feat. Anyone good at this sort of thing? Can someone lend a hand, or just advice.

Carports rock, especially when one already has a garage. Of course we'll see how I feel about that come winter.

I just need it for a covered place to park my 70 fastback, and the 89 convertible. I am planning on having it about 12 feet wide, and 20-24 or so feet deep.
