I've started this new thread so people realize we are not talking about the old trip.

Cory's doing the planning, he knows the area and goes camping up there quite a bit.

So it is the 25th. Sounds good Jeff I'll be going and it looks like Nikoll is going too. But that's not for sure for Nikoll. Will you be going Jeff and Cory? Or is it only on if Cory isn't in pain?

I don't think I want to drink anything called a "smoochie". LOL.
Actually peaches are hard to find in Georgia... and I've driven a large portion of the interstates there, and havent seen a single peachtree, except for peachtree blvd, peachtree ave., peachtree lane, peachtree rd, peachtree st., etc. LOL.

Are you sure you want to go to Georgia?

Yes he is sure.

I lived there my whole life and never saw a peach tree. GA should be called the peanut state, they grow the most peanuts...

Walking Eagle

I like fresh peanuts. When we lived in AZ, there was a peanut farm down the road where we could get 5 lb. bags of peanuts fresh anytime we wanted.

Walking Eagle
09-14-2005, 11:07 PM
Since I'm not sure exactly where we are going I can't help you there, but I'll say a 9:00 meeting time somewhere.

I know this was a worthless post, but Matt's post about the two guys making out threw me off.

Robb, I heard about that yesterday. Having talked to you the last couple of months I knew you were not crazy about the situation. Hope everything turns out alright.

Just to let you know, Robb has already found a new job, but we are still not sure if we will make it this weekend or not. We probably won't know until the end of the week, but we will keep you informed.

We plan on doing Yankee Hill, rated a 3 out of 10, goes from Central City over to Alice.

I am there, and my friend in the S-10

tony1307
09-25-2005, 12:35 AM
wait wait wait......... is this the trail that turns off 175, and drops down through a valey kinda? REAL tight in some spots? If so I don't wanna go. Too much time and effort in strips and stickers to rip them apart. I have run that trail before, and have numerous scratches already. :(

Walking Eagle
09-25-2005, 07:31 AM
I've never been there and so I can't answer that question.

tony1307
09-25-2005, 09:21 PM

Hope everyone made it home OK.

Walking Eagle
09-25-2005, 10:45 PM

09-25-2005, 11:30 PM
Damn dude...... So what was wrong with the Bronco?

We got home around 7:30. had a blast. My friend in the S-10 said he had a really good time.

Walking Eagle
09-26-2005, 08:24 AM
It was the bearings. Cory had to keep checking to make sure the wheel was not coming off and he kept it under 40 mph on the way home.
