We need to do another Saxon run.

We need to get to doing another Saxon run. I'm not sure if people wanted to camp up there like we did last year or just run it, but we should try to fulfill our obligations :).
In looking at the calendar, August 21st is available, as is the 13th/14th... much past that it gets into September. Anyone interested?

I'd be interested, and it doesn't really matter what weekend to me. I'm not sure about camping though.

Maybe we should try a fall run up there. Hopefully if we plan the timing right, get up there before the snow and when the leaves are starting to turn. I know starting in September, it could snow anytime, but does somebody know when snow usually starts up there.

Does it ever officially stop snowing up there? I've seen snow fly in Aug.

It snowed last week up here, 2 different nights...as far as snow sticking, we have a while still, but halfway thru september would be a good cut off....(at that elevation)

I'm not opposed to camping when it's cold & there's a possibility of snow :wink: I can leave the camper at home & bring my tent for this if you're gonna do it in Sept somethime cause my wife doesn't wanna camp after Labor Day............She thinks it's too cold.

well no one is saying we can only go twice a year, if theres a few folks interested in going thi sweekend I'm good with going up, we dont need a big group to make it happen.

If anyones got a weekday off, and wants to go up..Im opting not to take my truck up, since i have my t-fer case linkages disconnected...ill buy the gas, drinks, and some food...for the ride along.
