Sounds like a good, but not too well thought thru plan. It says in the article that they want one of the uses to be for evacuation. Now wouldn't an M-1 abram or something be better for that??? How many can you possibly fit in that tank? 10 maybe, if you don't want people to be able to breathe?

I say get an armored C-130  ! That'd get out lots of people! and there's more than enough room to add some, uhh, interrogation tools.

Of course, still get the tank, just cause that'd be sweet to see driving down the street. Although it will probably rack up more miles in parades than in actual usage.

Although, you're right, now we pay the delinquents to go to school, WTF!

And just because they're there, doesn't mean they aren't sleeping in Algebra,, like I did. Still got a friggin' A-, though. It's a curse being good at math I tell ya, A CURSE!!!!

Actually I've done about 30 minutes of work in the past 3.5 hours at work.

So does that mean someone could take a tank and put rubber tracks and turn signals on it and it would be street legal?

It would also have to pass emissions. Do tracks come in 33's to fit on the emissions testing machine?
