View posts since last visit.

This seems to be working now, but in case it happens again I wanted to document the problem.

When I check the forums, I click on the link "View posts since last visit." This morning at home, it did not list any new posts, but I know Tray and Matt had posted since I had been on last night. When I got to work, I asked Cory if he had checked out a couple of posts and he said he did not know about them. They were not listed under "View posts since last visit."

It worked now when I just checked, so it was probably an internet brain fart.

I think something like that happened to me last week, i'm not sure if it's the same exact thing, I asked Matt if he knew what was wrong, he said his was working for him so it must be my fault. LOL

Matt, is this what happened to me too?

I never even knew this link existed. I just watch the ovals to see which one's are blue, and which ones are acetoned. Then go by the ones with the little yellow flags next to 'em.

hmm... weird... its never happened to me I dont think, so I'm going to have to blame it on operator error again, LOL j/k. I'll try an dkeep my eyes on it!

It's happening at random. I recieved two e-mails earlier about topics being updated, so I came onto the site to check it out. They were not listed under the link "See posts since last time".

hmm... is someone signing on with your password, or maybe leaving the rmftc window up in the background and its automaticlaly refreshing thinking its something that was there since your last login or something?

No, I always close Internet Explorer down when I'm done looking at the internet. I don't want the boss to see what I'm doing, instead of what I'm really supposed to do.

This thread did not show up when you posted it Matt. I just happend to be going through the individual forums and ran into it about 2 minutes ago.

Hey Jeff, when the item doesn't show up in "view posts since last visit", does it show up with a "new" icon next to it, or does it appear that its already been read?

I did not pay attention when this first started, but last nights thread, that I posted above, did have the new icon.
