Yesterday was going to play poker with Chris (MMPC) and some of his friends, and he called me a bit before and said to meet him at Ken Caryl and C-470 in my truck, it was completely under water and he was getting footage for West Metro. There were a few cars that managed to get stuck under C-470 and one mercedes had to be towed out, another car they got out and managed ot "float" the car out, but I would guess water was at least 3-4 feet deep. Chris took video, I snapped a few pictures but it was raining so hard I was just trying to not get absolutely soaked, LOL.
I'll put the pictures up tonight, I haven't even looked to see how good they are yet.

I saw some of the reports on the news last night. Even with all of the rain we've had this month, we are still approximately two inches below our annual average at this point.

While we're waiting for Matt's pictures, I'll put this one up. It's looking east from Ken Caryl Valley (on Ken Caryl Ave.) towards C-470. There's normally a bike path visible on the ride side of the picture where the torrent is (behind the guardrail)! Glad I wasn't biking yesterday! :shock:

Matt - for the love of God open up Photoshop! Go to Image Adjust ---> Auto Levels (or Shift+Ctrl+L)! LOL Those would be some good pics but too dark - Photoshop'll fix it... :)

Yes, but notice he has mud tires... I had mostly bald highway tires!!! A puddle of water with an asphalt base is a totally different story than a mudd puddle!!!

Actually they are Krawler T/A's and 37" at that. Some of the other pics on the site also show that the water isn't as deep as when you made your attempt.
