As you may have seen in my other post (http://www.rmftc.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=147) the cafepress thing just isn't going to work out, especially for the larger shirts I don't think.
In thinking about it, I think we should just be able to do some more screenprinted shirts like we did with the Ford Truck World ones, but it would be kind of a larger upfront committment. We could reduce the logo from two colors to one color, that way we coudl do a run with white ink and a run with blank ink, like before, so you could get any color shirt you wanted! The down side to this is I'd need money first and then in a few weeks your shirts would be available.
The plus side of doing this is shirts can be ordered for cheaper (around $10 a shirt as opposed to $15-20 for a shirt through cafepress) and they would be of a much higher quality as well, plus no shippign charges for those that are local.
So, who would be interested and do you have any insight to it? :).

After looking at the shirt in your other post, I say this is the way to go. Is this just a one time thing, or could we order any time. I am so poor right now, I can't even pay attention.

I feel the same way as Neil. I have a lot of truck expenses in the weeks to come and would like to do shirts a little further down the road.

In the meantime, I'm still not opposed to ordering shirts, etc. through cafepress... if you are a big guy like me (or even if your not) I'd just recommend the "Value" shirt whichi s about $10 but doesn't have any printing on the back. It's a little bit thinner of a shirt too... you can also get coffee mugs, mousepads, etc.

By the way, did you guys notice what the Colorado Power Stroke Club was charging for shirts at Bandimere? I guess it was just me and Dom that were there so I can't really ask that... but they were asking $19/shirt. I'm not sure if thats the non-club member price or what, but holy shimolies! LOL.

We could go into a long discussion about supply and demand. At the prices your charging Matt, it allows people the opportunity to buy a few shirts. They can buy them for their spouses or kids, or just have a couple for themselves. At the Power Stroke prices, people will start having a stroke if they wanted two or three.

dont get me started on supply and demand, I'mt aking macroeconomics right now, in fact I'm studying as we speak! LOL (sorta)
Would anyone who isn't in the club actually buy one?
Personally I wouldn't buy a powerstroke club shirt unless I had a powerstroke, and was either in the club, or going to be joining shortly.

Yeah thats kind of what I thought, but thats ok... its not my club to run over there :).
I was kind of suprised, I met the webmaster/founder of the club at the event, and he said he hadn't even been on the site in about a month. Thought wow...

Matt, what happened to the CO license plate logo. I liked that one the best. I understand the money thing, Im a returning college student but if were gong to make a shirt lets amke a bad ass looking one and then more people would be likely to buy them. The real question is is the new place we get the shirts at going to offer thongs that that cafe place, I saw that and lmao

I didn't want to use the Colorado license plate because this isn't a Colorado Club, its a Rocky Mountain club :). That and I didn't want to have something that looked the same as the FTW thing (other then the oval, which is because its Ford, not because its associated with FTW).
Honestly what I'd like to do is a run of regular shirts, but keep the things like thongs, frisbees, etc. going out of the cafepress store... The time it takes to coordinate a lot of those things is honestly more time then I have, not ot mention most places have minimum quantities of 25-50 of things, so I'd have ot know for sure people wanted thongs... you know?
