Today I led Cory and his family, my parents (Grand Cherokee), and my sister and her boyfriend (Scout) down to China Wall. I thought the trail was a real disappointment. I had read information from traildamage.com and 4x4trails.net. For a 1 1/2 hour drive from Denver, I will never do this trail again. This trail was easy and short. I expected more challenges, but there was only one section that gave us some good entertainment.

The section that tested us was a very small hill. As you come over the top the front end of the vehicle is pointed upward and the trail falls sharply away to your right between large boulders. The ground is soft and today it was raining a little bit making the ground and rocks slippery. It's a blind right turn for the driver and requires trusting your spotter.

Yeah, that trail is a cakewalk. After Chinamans Gulch, you're yearning for more of a challenge...........aren't you? :D

Looks like you guys ran it the opposite way we do it. We go up that hill instead of down it. Did you make it to Tarryall creek (turn around point)? If not, you missed half of the trail. There's several obsticales to play on & give your undercarriage a beating.

The undercarriage was bounced around a few times. I also landed on the back bumper pretty good coming off a ledge.

Let me know when you wanna go, hopefully, I won't have any honeydoos to attend to

I got my 4wd working again so now I can play on the obsticales instead of just running the trail in 2wd.
