Well originally I was scheduled to have a lot of paint work done on the truck... and it was going ot be done down in Pueblo by a shop for basically the cost of materials... including fixing dents, repainting a different color and doing some flames on there as well. Well I haven't been able to get ahold of the shop for several weeks so I've pretty much given up on them helping me out (thankfully I didn't give them any money first!) so I was working with another shop here in town one of the Dodge Truck World guys recommended, and with the cost of fixing the hail damage, repainting a different color, and doing hte flames, looking at about $7000, thats assuming I do the prep work such as sanding, removing all the exterior and interior pieces possible, etc. beforehand, otherwise about $10,000. So with the lift/tires/wheels coming up within the next few weeks, and the tranny JUST being rebuilt a few weeks ago, that job will have to wait a while I think :(.
Oh well I'm still excited about the lift and the tires/wheels :)

That's a bummer. That also seems like a lot of money.

I'm probably going to take out a loan for the amount. Realistically, I got about $3600 from insurance for hail damage, which is part of the total amount "owed" to the body shop. I plan on selling my Buick once the truck is fixed up, so that'll cover the loan amount... hopefully. LOL.
