Saleen exhaust

I have the opportunity to buy the exhaust from a Saleen Explorer(used). It's a 99 like mine and should bolt right up. It's from the cats back and the guy wants $100 plus shipping. It would probably make it flow a little better and sound better. And I could say "Yeah, its got a Saleen exhaust on it" which is cool in itself. So... I'd like some feedback. Is this worth it? Would it be an ok deal?

$100 is a good deal on any kind of good exhaust system.

It's always good to have something to brag about :). Just don't stick a saleen banner on your windshield and say your explorer is a saleen because it has the same exhaust :). Hopefully its relatively rust-free, etc. otherwise you'll end up replacing components or all of it eventually anyway...

Thanks everyone. I had some trouble getting my paypal to work but if he hasn't sold it I'm going to get it. I have never used paypal before So I didn't know you had to confirm accounts and such. Oh well, if he sells it I'll just wait till something else comes along. And yes I know better than to get a saleen banner for my windshield. For that I would have to have the exhaust... and a saleen cigarette lighter. LOL

I got it and its installed. It sounds great!!! A low rumble. Not too loud or obnoxious. I swear it made a diffrence in throttle responce. It used to have what seemed like a split second lag between 1500 and 2000 rpm or so and now it seems to be gone. My Uncle says its all in my head. Since its a cat-back it couldn't do anything but make it louder, but it seemed to make a difference. Anyway, I couldn't be happier! It's exactly what I wanted.
