New AOL Instant Messenger username

For those that used to reach me at myf150rox via aol instant messenger... the name has changed since my parents cancelled their aol account and that's what I was using.

Aren't AOLIM account names independant of AOL? I know I dont have AOL yet I use AOLIM. I would think if they cancelled their AOL account and as a result your AIM, I would think you could re-register it

thats what you'd think. When you cancel, it cancels your AOL Instant Messenger, and it reserves the username os it can't be used again.
