From the Co Springs area, take 24 west to Antero Junction (that's where 24 & 285 meet up). Turn left at the stop sign onto 24/285.

From the Denver area, take 285 west to Antero Junction, you will not have a stop sign.

From Antero Junction, go approx 5-7 miles. You'll see a sign on the right side of the highway "307". This sign lets you know that 307 will be coming up shortly after that sign. 307 is on the left. Take 307 for approx 3/4 mile until you see road 308 on the left.

Turn left on 308 (the only road on the left) & go about 1/4 mile & we'll be on the right side of road 308. Distance depends on me picking the campspot that allows enough room for everyone & has the most amount of level ground.

From the west (going through Johnson Village) Take 24/285 east approx 5 miles. You'll see road 307 to the right. This is a different entrance to 307 than when coming from the east side of Colorado (307 is kinda like a frontage road along the highway). Stay on road 307 for approx a mile or so. You'll see a sign indicating you're going through private property & they don't want you to drive fast through it. It's all good because the forest service allows access through it. Please obey the speed limit though. After you're past the private property, start looking for road 308 on the right side of the road. turn right & we'll be up there somewhere on the right side of the road.

It's piece of cake to find since it's not far off the highway & the road signs are clearly marked.

Both roads, 307 & 308, are maintained dirt roads. You could bring a camper/trailer or car on them without any damage.

My cell # is 719-573-4481 and I get cell service there so if anyone has trouble finding it, please call me. :)

Hey Warrlord, what city is this near? Just trying to get an idea on driving time. I was thinking Buena Vista, but not sure if I'm right...

Yeah, Buena Vista. Johnson Village is south of Buena & west of where we are gonna be at. Takes about an hour & a half from here. Maybe add 45 minutes for you?
