Most people know I'm a relatively mild-mannered guy. I can take a lot of crap before loosing my cool. Rarely (although more frequently as of the last few weeks) I do tend to "go off the deep end" however. Like for example a few weeks ago I was pissed off because my next level support guy wasn't doing what he was supposed to so I sent an email to him, his boss, my boss, my bosses boss, and several others in the company basically telling him how upset I was that he couldn't handle the simplest of tasks, and yet he was supposed to be my superior.
Today was one of those days where I said "I have had enough, I'm mad as hell and I'm not going ot take it anymore".
One of the salesman told me (via email) that I basically handled a call wrong, and knowing that I had handled it right, I sent an email back to him, my boss, my bosses boss, the vice president of our division, and the sales rep's boss, basically telling him that I was right and hte problem was not with me but with our software's achilles heel (basically anytime our software encounters a power outage, it crashes and can take days or even weeks to rebuild from, this obviously uspets a lot of customers) and until we got this problem fixed, I'd expect more and more customers to keep leaving us as they were already ebcause we are unable to fix the simplest problems, yada yada yada.
Long story short, I feel much better now :).
It's no wonder my co-workers all say I'm the most likely employee to come in with a gun and start shooting up the place... ROFL (even though I'd never let it get to that point, I'd just quit my job first!)
