I'm psyched. My speedometer will finally read the correct speed, LOL.
Ordered from Troyer Performance a bit ago, he has about a week turnaround on custom burns, after he goes over the custom spec sheets, etc.
Mode 1 - Compensates for 35" tires, 4.56 gears, and all engine modifications. Designed for moderate power increases, while using standard fuel. (In other words, won't ping the engine if you don't use premium)
Mode 2 - Compensates for 35" tires, 4.56 gears, and all engine modifications. Designed for big power gains, racing, etc. when premium fuel would be used.
Mode 3 - Compensates for 37" tires, 4.56 gears, and all engine modifications. Designed for moderate power inreases, while using standard fuel.
Mode 4 - Compensates for 37" tires, 4.56 gears, and all engine modifications. Designed for big power gains, racing, etc. when premium fuel would be used.

The 4-mode chip can also be programmed for variations in driving, such as towing, city driving, highway driving, etc. It's pretty versatile, and Mike knows his programming! Chip can be reburned later if I completely get rid of the 35"s, etc.

Kewl. I've considered a chip from him before but with a manual shifter I feel I'm loseing some of the benefits.

How much does something like that set a guy back?

I think its about $300. But I was trading in my old single-format blue superchip as well, which is another cool thing about Troyer Performance, he lets you "trade up" and gives you some dough for what you don't want anymore.

Well then for that I may as well just get a programmer.
