Not sure if folks will be in town or not... if not, this might be a good weekend to do my suspension kit install. i don't think the installs hould be too bad. Burg has offered his place, assuming its available that weekend. Hopefully it'd be a one-day project but you never know with these suspension kits, sometimes they dont go exactly as easily as planned, you know? :).

Also, would anyone be willing to do a little BBQ'ing/cooking also? I think it would be cool if we could also do a little BBQ. One small problem though, I don't have a BBQ grill yet... Maybe someone could bring one? I dunno, just an idea...

I would say I could bring mine, but the bed of my truck is gonna be full of "merchandise" LOL.

I'm still trying to find something a women's good at. I thought maybe I could give them credit for cooking, because I know their driving sucks.

This is all done in good humor.

eh, in general, you have a point about the driving... although Im an excellent driver, Matt even trusted me to drive his truck half way accross the country... that has to say something about MY driving... but unfortunately I have to agree that MOST women are bad drivers. But I also think MOST men are just as bad...

but you werent even giving credit for good cooking... you were saying that they are SUPPOSED to cook... theres a difference:)

... yes humor is a good thing...

Me and Jen will be there, and I will bring our bbq grill. Has anyone set up a list of what everyone is going to bring?????? Or was everyone going to bring their own grub???

Ok, I decided to get off my lazy ass and put some directions up for everybody...

First off, you will need to get to Highway 52, whether you take Highway 85 or I-25 to Highway 52 is your choice. I prefer Highway 85 because there is no construction but there is traffic lights and it seems faster to get to the Denver area that way.

Pretty simple.
1. Take Highway 52 East into Fort Lupton.
2. You will see a animal hospital on your right hand side heading East and you will want to take your next right. This is Fulton Ave. and you will be heading South.
3. You will go through 3 stop signs and at the third stop sign you stop at you will want to take a Left onto Lone Pine St. (at this stop sign there should be an empty field to your left) You will be heading east again.
4. Take your first right onto S. Hoover Ave. You will be heading South again.
5. Then take your first left onto Barry St. (eastbound) and my house is at the end of the street on the right hand side. If you miss my black truck and the UGLY yellow and green crew cab then I suggest you get your vision checked. LOL.

Anyway, here is a map also.

Unless you all want to meet at Burger King in the morning or whatever, its up to you...

Oh yeah and another thing....

Watch and OBEY the speed limits there (i know we have a few lead foots here including myself) and the cops won't hesitate to give you a ticket as I have already found that out the hard way along with a few friends.

Remember, small town, thats how they get there revenue is from tickets.

If the cops are watching, I think it's time for another truck caravan. :D

"We got a great big convoy, truckin through the night... we got a great big convoy, aint she a beautifal site... convoy..." LOL oh wait thats another thing...

oh yeah everything should be ready so when we're doing the lift if some people can't (or don't want to) help with the lift they can help uninstall the rollbar. It's definately a two man job, one underneath, one on top to hold the carriage bolt down, but its no biggie.
I'm also hoping to get some new front rotors by the 3rd, since we have to take the brakes off for the install anyways.

Hey Burg, I've got another question for you. Do you have a yard, and any dogs or anything? I'm trying to decide if I should leave my dog with my parents that day or if you have a yard with a fence and stuff maybe I could just bring her...

Burg460
06-23-2004, 05:06 PM
Yeah, I have a yard, it's my alternate parking sometimes! LOL But, I don't have a fenced yard, but you are more then welcome to bring her though. If she is good with kids then she would stay busy with mine.
