so i went out to my truck this morning... my wife was with me... and im like hey did we leave the seats forward??? WTF!! but my 12" sub was still there... hmmmmm... i look and see that my back sliding window is open??? megan is like "sombody was going through your truck!! i look to see if my cd's were still there, NOPE!! sombody stole my cds, and everything in my glovebox, o and my ASP and a knife... but they didnt touch my cd player! they didnt touch my sub! what the hell, my mom told me she let the dog out about 2:30 last night and she went off barking at something, so i figured my wolf rott.. mix must have scared them off, but they still ended up with at least $200 in cds, my asp, a knife, my manual for my truck?!???.... but i dont have a way to lock the back window and im affraid that they may come back! what should i do???

Make a way to lock it.

Ghetto way is to cut something to stick between the sliding portion and the side of the truck.

yeah, something similiar to how people lowck a sliding glass door, just jam a broomstick in there so no one can open the door :).

the only thing that might help is a loudass alarm, if they want in they'll get in. sorry man. many years ago i had a 1700 watt system they took it
out thru my custom sunroof

my good friend's car just got broken into and among other things, over 100 cds were stolen. She compiled a list of all that she had and emailed it out to all of her friends and anyone that had one of the same cds can now burn her another copy of it as well as let everyone else know what needs to be crossed off the list.

We could do that here, get it together and post a list of the artists/albums and lets see if your RMFTC family can help ya out! Maybe we can even schedule a "CD release party/meet"

Cut a piece of dowl rod to fit in the slider track, that is the best way I know other than a solid rear window to keep people out. These things are so easy to open from the outside it is scary. When I lock my keys in mine it just takes me 30 seconds to have a door open.
Oh, they wont come back. They would be incredibly stupid to do that since now you are on alert.
