Rocky Mountain Ford Truck Club is a club welcome to Ford Truck or SUV owners in the Rocky Mountain region (and technically we won't exclude others).

Larry Hull - Moderator

DUES

RMFTC is a due-free club. Typically events will cost a small amount, but money is not paid to RMFTC, but rather to the event holder (for example, if we have dinner at Hooters, you are responsible for your own bill, but there is no "RMFTC overage" fees, etc.

REQUIREMENTS

The only "requirement" is to be a past, present, or potentially a Ford Truck owner, and an enthusiast looking to meet other enthusiasts. In order to be notified of events, etc. you must register via the forums, but there are no post requirements. A strong community spirit is strongly encouraged.

BYLAWS

In many clubs you will find a very formal set of bylaws. While this may help eliminate any conflicts within the club, they also place a lot of unnecessary rules and restrictions on what a group of friends are allowed to do.  So our rules are very minimal;

1. Be tolerant of others. This is major, and should be common sense of adults in a community setting. For example, Lightning owners might not like the 4-wheel drive scene and vise versa, but insulting and abusing (either verbally or via the forums) won't be tolerated. Any member found to be in violation of this rule will be warned and if behavior continues, will have club privaleges revoked.

2. Make an honest attempt to make the club the best it can be. This means attempting to attend or if possible, planning events, talking via the forums, and helping support the site when possible. Because this site is not sponsored and because there are no dues, all website hosting/domain registration, etc. dues are technically the responsibility of the president, and helping to offset the cost will be appreciated.

3. Occasionally certain companies will make discounts available to club members (for example, dealerships, exhaust shops, etc. and returning this favor with favorable comments and insuring they know you got there from the club.

4. The staff is here to help, but we cannot be responsible for the entire club. As such, helping out in local regions or via the forums is appreciated. This can be in the form of helping set up a local event, or informing staff of disruptive behavior, etc.
